In 2007, I decorated my daughter's first birthday cake. Disaster is an understatement! I made a lot of rookie mistakes. I didn't research cake baking/decorating, I just went for it. It wasn't a hobbby back then, just something I wanted to do for my daughter. After realizing what I had done, I was determined to learn from my mistakes and attempt it again some day. There was no stopping me! I became obsessed with baking shows like Cake Boss and Ace of Cakes. Little by little, my cake knowledge increased and my cakes started to come out nicer. Before I knew it, I was selling cakes! It has become a passion of mine and something I absolutely love to do. I learn new tricks of the trade everyday. I've even ventured over to cupcakes, cake pops, cake balls and cookies. I dream of opening up a bakery some day, until then, I'll just keep on baking!
